About Me

A career built on passion for early childhood

I'm Nirusha, a dedicated Early Childhood Educator and Service Coordinator based in Sydney, Australia. My journey in childcare began in 2018 and has grown into a career I'm deeply proud of, progressing from classroom educator all the way to leading an entire centre as Director.

"Every child deserves a safe, inclusive space where curiosity is celebrated and development is nurtured with genuine care."

With a nursing background from Nepal and ongoing studies in Early Learning and Education at La Trobe University, I bring a unique, holistic perspective to child wellbeing, combining clinical precision with warm, family-centred care.

My Philosophy

The values that guide my practice

I believe the early years are the most formative period in a child's life. Every decision I make, from how I design a learning space to how I support a new educator, is grounded in these core principles.

🌈
Inclusive Environments
Every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and celebrated. I create spaces that honour cultural diversity, individual needs, and every child's unique story.
🀝
Family Partnership
Parents are a child's first educators. I build genuine, transparent relationships with families, keeping them informed, involved, and confident.
πŸ“š
Play-Based Learning
Children learn best through play and exploration. Every program I develop is grounded in the EYLF, centred on curiosity and joy.
πŸ›‘οΈ
Safety & Wellbeing
Physical and emotional safety is non-negotiable. I ensure every space is compliant, risk-assessed, and genuinely nurturing.
🌱
Educator Growth
Great childcare begins with great educators. I invest in mentoring, reflective practice, and professional development for every team member.
πŸ’‘
Continuous Improvement
I hold myself and my centres to the highest standards, always seeking feedback, reviewing quality, and evolving to better serve children and families.
